Trump’s State Of The Union

Last year, Trump opened his address with more than a nod to the 75 year anniversary of D-Day as well as the 50 year anniversary of Apollo 11, with guests of honor Private First Class Joseph Reilly, Staff Sergeant Irving Locker, Sergeant Herman Zeitchik, and Buzz Aldrin. He continued on, vowing that within the year, American astronauts would “go back to space on American rockets.”

Trump continued on to focus on how “we have launched an unprecedented economic boom.” He noted a total of “5.3 million new jobs created…” and “600,000 new manufacturing jobs…” He also went on to address his administrations work in cutting taxes, raising wages, and lowering overall unemployment.
