The Tristyn Bailey Foundation Hosts Its First Fundraiser

On May 9th, 2021, thirteen-year-old, Tristan Bailey, was found murdered near a retention pond in a St. Johns County neighborhood. After the tragedy, Stacy and Brittney Bailey, Tristyn’s mother and sister, initiated the Tristyn Bailey Foundation, in memory of their late family member. Now, about two and a half years after Tristyn’s death, the Tristyn Bailey Foundation is presenting its first ever fundraiser to support the “Four Pillars of Good Acts.” These acts include “scholarships, victim advocacy, self-defense and self-confidence, and education on the dangers of social media.” Tristyn’s family and loved ones, specifically her mother and sister that speak for the foundation, hope to “push through and find like I said, the silver lining the light out of this.”

The fundraiser will be held on Sunday, November 6th, and Monday, November 7th, and will be hosted at the St. Johns Golf and Country Club. During the event, a golf tournament will take place along with a multitude of activities for families to enjoy. Some of these activities include cornhole, live music, and other games.

Participating in this fundraiser is essential to supporting the local St. Johns County community and finding positive outcomes despite the tragic death of the beloved teenager. With this event and others to come in the future, the community has an opportunity to help others in need, spread positivity, and be an outlet of the love and support Tristyn is remembered for giving.
